Wisteria

English
Gaeilge
On the northern wall of the client’s property, there is a beautiful wisteria. Around this wisteria, the clients sought to make a sanctuary in their garden. A pad consisting of limestone and sandstone aggregate demarcates the threshold with the garden. A column, two beams and wires create a framework which holds this space and offers support for the wisteria. The colour palette of the project; Majorelle blue and yellow were selected by the client and inspired by a trip to Majorelle’s house in Marrakesh. On the rear wall, a yellow circular disc becomes the garden’s sun on grey days.
Tá vistéiria álainn ar an mballa ó thuaidh ar suíomh na gcliaint. Theastaigh uathu tearmainn a chruthú ina ngairdín timpeall ar an vistéiria. Déanann ardán déanta as tathagú aolchloch agus gaineamhcloch teorainn agus tairseach leis an ghairdín. Cruthaíonn colún, dhá bhíoma agus sreanganna fráma sa spás agus tugann sé tacaíocht don vistéiria. Roghnaigh an cliaint dathanna gorm don tionscadal seo, roghnaíodh gorm Majorelle agus buí, bhí tionchar ag turas go teach Majorelle i Marrakesh ar an rogha seo. Tá diosca ciorclach buí ar an mballa cúl a fheidhmíonn mar ghrian don ghairdín ar laethanta ghruama.
