The form of this garden studio is derived from the form of the standard garden shed. The open plan studio space is adaptable to different working conditions. Large openings capture the heat and light of the sun. The studio sits elevated on pillars to avoid interfering with the ground below. Charred Irish larch was used to clad the building. The studio was detailed and designed adopting Passiv Haus Standards. Bespoke door handles, window latches, light fittings and furniture for the studio were designed in collaboration with master craftspeople.
Faightear cruth an studió gairdín seo ó bhunchruth an sciobail gairdín. Is feidir an plean oscailte spás studió a athrú le módhanna oibre éagsúla. Gabhann oscailtí móra an teas agus solas na gréine. Tá an studio suite go hárd ar philéir chun an talamh thíos a sheachnú. Úsáideadh learóg Éireannach gualithe chun an foirgneamh a chumhdach. Sonraíodh agus dearadh an studió ag úsáíd caighdeáin Passiv Haus. Bhí na murláin dorais leithleacha, feistithe solais agus an troscán don studió deartha in éineacht le céirdithe máistreacha.
